Savannah Hilton Head International Airport
The Savannah Airport (SAV) is located 13 miles from the Savannah Historic District and 45 miles from downtown Beaufort. It offers regular flights to more than 20 non-stop destinations, including Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dallas, Houston, Indianapolis, Lexington, Louisville, Minneapolis, New York, Newark, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Toronto, and Washington, DC. Airlines include Delta, United, American, JetBlue, Allegiant, Sun Country, and Air Canada.

The following rental car companies are located in baggage claim of Savannah/Hilton Head International. All rental and return lots are covered and located adjacent to the main terminal building.
Taxi Services
Uber and Lyft ride-sharing apps are available at Savannah Airport, as are traditional taxi cabs. Outside of surge pricing periods, an Uber or Lyft ride from Savannah airport to downtown will cost around $15-$25 for an UberX or Lyft (up to four passengers) or $30-$40 for an UberXL or Lyft Plus (up to six passengers) depending on exact destination and travel time. A small additional fee applies for airport pick ups. For traditional taxis, the basic fare to Savannah’s downtown Historic District is $28.
